Connection Security
ALL our connections to our web services use secure HTTPS protocols. If your web browser does not provide for secure HTTPS then you cannot access our services.
Infrastructure Protection
Our web services operate on secure servers within a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), with additional protection through our own Virtual Private Network (VPN) shielding website access and database operations.
Database Filtering
Each URL in the Search Site Library undergoes filtering via BrightCloud Web Classification Service to exclude sites hosting malicious, illegal, or objectionable content.
User Authentication & Access Control
The platform assigns unique user IDs to three subscriber categories: Resellers, Groups, and Individual users. Each service request requires a valid user ID before processing occurs. Unregistered users accessing SRF Express services have activity logged under their Reseller or Group ID rather than individually.
Rate Limiting
Users receive maximum access periods and request limits; exceeding these triggers re-authentication requirements.
Data Logging Practices
Request packets are tracked with user ID associations, server error counts, and submitted text plus identified keywords. Exception: when text causes processing errors, the problematic content is retained alongside the user ID to diagnose, correct, and prevent recurrence. Once resolved, the user ID is removed from error records.
Security Response
Multiple error-causing packets from one user ID within brief timeframes result in account blocking. The affected user and their administrator receive notification explaining the action and required steps for reinstatement, preventing unauthorized automated access and server overload.
